	Parade! Saturday, October 1 10:00 am City Center Parkway - to - City Center Blvd. Theme: "Our Sweet 16". Grand Marshall: Port Orange kids that are celebrating their 16th birthday this year too! If you are from Port Orange and turn 16 in 2011 - you can march at the front of our parade as our "Grand Marshall"! E-mail info@familydays.com to register! New Parade Route: Starting at the old police station on City Center Parkway north past the YMCA - west between City Hall and the Library - ending at theLakeside Center parking lot. Watch the Parade in the Shade! The Mutt Strut presented by the SE Volusia Humane Society will immediately follow the parade.

Timmy Rivers Band

Timmy Rivers is a native ofOrmond Beach. His1^st album was recorded when he was 14 years old. The songs were co-written by Stan Lynch (Rock-n-Roll Hall of Fame drummer for Tom Petty), who also played all the drum tracks on the album.

Early this summer he went to Sweden and recorded three songs from Universal Music Publishing with Martin Hansen, Nordhansen Productions & Harry Sommerdahl, Sommerdahl Musicproduction .

Over the past year he’s been privileged to work with one of the top vocal coaches in the country, Brett Manning in Nashville, Tennessee.

He’s spent the year writing songs and recording and he’s definitely capturing a sound that is uniquely his own. He just finished production on 3 singles that are ready to be released to I-tunes that were mixed by world-renowned producer, Tony Maserati.
